Bad look for Project Connect
They're playing right into their opponents' trap.
Project Connect's closed books: This tweet from KUT's Nathan Bernier reminded me of a subject I've been meaning to cover.
The Austin Transit Partnership doesn't want to release any of its application for federal funding for the light-rail project. In response to a public information request, ATP says all the information "may be exempted from disclosure." ATP is asking the Texas AG to weigh in.

I am very concerned that the people overseeing Project Connect are not actually thinking about how to build the most effective transit system over the next 50 years, but are instead focused on minimizing controversy and debate over the next five.
