Watson readies reelection, endorsements
8 Council members will endorse the mayor.
Multiple sources say Mayor Kirk Watson will soon officially announce he is running for reelection. He will also announce that he's secured endorsements from every Council member except Mackenzie Kelly and Alison Alter.
It has always been a given that Watson would run for reelection. That he was able to snag endorsements from eight of ten Council colleagues is impressive, but hardly shocking.
