Two very troubling videos of Austin police officers beating the crap out of people have emerged in the past few days.

First there's the video of an officer repeatedly punching a man on the ground he's arresting. A second officer joins in. The account the officers gave was that the man being punched in that video, Johnny Acuña-Jacobo, hit a cop first. In an interview with KVUE after being released from jail, Acuña-Jacobo denied that.

Then there's video minutes later of the second officer approaching a man who appears to be talking to two other cops. The officer blind sides him with what appears to be a full-force right hook to the face, dropping him to the ground.
